Rotokawa School - Biannual Curriculum

Rotokawa School is in the developing stages of building a bi-annual local school curriculum. Through the voice of all students, staff , whānau, stakeholders and the wider community we have been responsive by incorporating their desired outcomes and needs into our curriculum. The teaching and learning is implemented through local pūrākau and pakiwaitara, local geographical areas of significance, history and understanding of the whenua, and building strong connections with all involved. Our curriculum aligns with the Eastern Rotorua Kāhui Ako goals where the pathway of education for our tamariki is supported from Early Childhood Education through to the end of High School. All of this learning will be linked to the Professional Growth Cycle outlined above.
