Classes and Learning Options

This year, we have a range of classes and year options available to suit the needs of students from New Entrant to Year 6.

Whichever option best suits your child/tamaiti, please come in and have a conversation/Kōrero with us to ensure that you child/tamaiti is placed in the best place for them and their learning and development.

Pae-maia

Hinemaru is the mother of Hinemoa and the wide of the very influential chief within the area, Umukaria.

Rangiuru is the mother of Tūtānekai and the wife of Whakaue who resided on on Te Motutapu-a-Tinirau - Mokoia Island in Lake Rotorua.

Pae-maia takes its name from an old Pa-site that sat on the Paemaunga o Whakapoungakau. A site below and to the far left of the Tihi o Pukepoto if looking in a direct line from the Rotokawa School.
