Trapping

posted: Mon, August 12, 2019

After Room 1 and 8's visit to Hannahs Bay with Tatau Pounamu, Baden was keen to go back to Hannahs Bay/Waikawau and look in the traps again. They came across this! We have messaged Tatau Pounamu to let them know.

Our kura now have some of these traps in our school (thanks to Tatau Pounamu).

Along with these traps, Nature walks and the creation of bird feeders, to entice and encourage bird life to return, is happening.

All tamariki who are involved in this learning are all passionate about trapping pests to help to save our birds and plants.

Tau kě!
