Last Friday, we had a special assembly for the Signing of Te Tatau Pounamu - The Memorandum of Understanding between Ngāti Uenukukōpako Hapū abd Rotokawa School. The purpose of this signing was to formalise the commitment of the parties to work in partnership to cement the relationship between Rotokawa School and Mana Whenua of the rohe upon which the school sits.
It was a great celebration with our tamariki, whānau, hapū representatives, Board of Trustee members, a past Principal Briar Stewart and current staff. As a school, we are looking forward to cementing this relationship as we move forward.
