FOTS is a very active group, which is involved in a number of fundraising schemes, and other activities, which directly benefit your children. We are a small team of parents and teachers, who meet twice a term in the school staffroom.
Funds for the benefit of our children are raised by our vibrant Friends of Our School
Harley Hira, Chairperson
Manu Te Puia, Secretary
Renee Mahuta, Treasurer
Nikkole Fox, Staff Rep
Renee Mahuta, BOT representative
All parents and whanau are welcome to be members of our support group.
Many hands make light work
We ask parents and caregivers if they would be able to help with some of the activities by getting involved and having fun! Helping out at some of these events is also a great way to get to meet other members of the school community.
While we would love to say that there is lots of money available from the Ministry of Education to support our school, unfortunately this is not the case. FOTS fundraising is an essential element of our school. Parents with new ideas and enthusiasm, or simply those who are interested in their children’s education, who would like to support us in some way, are welcomed! It could be as simple as helping with a Sausage Sizzle, Splash Out, Disco, Bake Sale and Art on the Porch, assisting at events or becoming a committee member. We welcome any input that you may offer including any fundraising ideas or other projects.
If you would like to become involved in this active and friendly group, or help out at any of our events, please forward your details to the school office for FOTS contact details or just come along to one of our meetings.
Please be assured your involvement can be as little or as big as you choose.
For the date a time of the next FOTS meeting, please check the calendar.
FOTS Bank Account
